About Word Builder
Word Builder gives you a set of letter tiles and challenges you to build as many valid English words as possible before the timer runs out. Any combination of the available letters counts — you do not have to use them all in one word. Longer words score more points than shorter ones, and building words over five letters earns bonus multipliers. Use the shuffle button to rearrange your tiles and spot combinations you might have missed. Word Builder is excellent for vocabulary building and is a favourite among people who enjoy Scrabble, Bananagrams, and similar word games.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to use all the letters to submit a word?
No. You can use any subset of the available letters in any order. A three-letter word from a seven-letter rack is perfectly valid. The rack letters just define which letters are available — you choose how many to use.
What counts as a valid word in Word Builder?
Any word in the Flario English dictionary is valid — this covers common words including plurals, verb forms, and adjectives. Proper nouns, abbreviations, and non-English words are not accepted.
How is the score calculated?
Each word earns points based on its length. Three-letter words score the base value, longer words score proportionally more, and words of five or more letters earn additional bonus multipliers. Building multiple long words in quick succession is the fastest way to a high score.
What should I do if I cannot see any words?
Press the shuffle button to rearrange your tiles — a fresh arrangement often reveals combinations your eye missed. Also look for common word endings like -ING, -ED, -LY, -ER, and -ION that might combine with your available consonants.
How much time do I have in Word Builder?
The default game lasts 90 seconds. This is enough time to find most common words but short enough that you cannot afford to think too slowly. Practise sessions naturally improve your word-spotting speed.
Is Word Builder good for improving vocabulary?
Yes. Regularly playing word-building games increases your active vocabulary — words you can recall and use spontaneously — more effectively than passive reading alone, because the active search process reinforces word memory.
