About Sudoku
Sudoku is the world's most popular logic puzzle. Fill a 9×9 grid so that every row, every column, and every 3×3 box contains the digits 1 through 9 exactly once. No maths is required — only logical deduction. Flario's Sudoku offers three difficulty levels: Easy puzzles have many cells pre-filled and require straightforward elimination, Medium puzzles need pattern recognition, and Hard puzzles demand advanced techniques like X-wings and swordfish. A new daily Sudoku puzzle is available every day, and you can play unlimited additional puzzles at any difficulty.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be good at maths to play Sudoku?
Not at all. Sudoku uses the digits 1–9 purely as symbols — you could replace them with any nine different symbols and the puzzle would be identical. It is entirely a logic game, not a maths game.
What is the difference between Easy, Medium, and Hard Sudoku?
Easy puzzles start with many cells filled and can be solved using basic elimination alone. Medium puzzles require you to spot more complex patterns. Hard puzzles need advanced techniques like locked candidates and X-wings, which experienced players find most satisfying.
Can I use pencil marks in Flario's Sudoku?
Currently Flario's Sudoku focuses on direct cell entry. A note-taking or pencil mark feature is planned for a future update to support players who solve harder puzzles.
How long does a Sudoku puzzle take to solve?
An Easy puzzle typically takes 5–10 minutes for a practised player. Medium puzzles take 10–20 minutes. Hard puzzles can take 30 minutes or more, even for experienced solvers.
Is there a daily Sudoku challenge?
Yes. Flario generates a new daily Sudoku every midnight. Completing the daily puzzle earns bonus XP and counts toward your daily streak.
What is the best way to start a Sudoku puzzle?
Look for rows, columns, or boxes that already have 7 or more digits filled — these are the easiest to complete first. Then look for any digit that can only go in one cell within a row, column, or box.
