About Pulse
Pulse is a Flario original timing game with a meditative quality. A ring expands outward from the centre of the screen. Your goal is to tap at the precise moment the expanding ring overlaps the fixed target ring. Tap too early or too late and you lose a life. Time it perfectly and you earn bonus points and build a combo multiplier. Each miss resets your combo. The game continues until you lose all three lives. Pulse is deceptively simple — the concept takes seconds to understand, but achieving consistent perfects requires real focus and timing.
How to Play
A ring expands from the centre
Tap when the moving ring perfectly overlaps the target ring
Perfect hits build your combo multiplier
Missing the window resets your combo
Rings get faster as your score climbs
💡 Tips & Tricks
Anticipate — tap slightly before it looks perfect
Build combos by staying consistent rather than chasing perfects
Breathe steadily — tension makes timing worse
🏆 Scoring
Perfect = 100pts × combo. Good = 60pts. Miss = combo reset. Combo x10 = legendary multiplier.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Pulse available anywhere else?
No. Pulse is a Flario original game built exclusively for this platform. The expanding ring mechanic and combo system are unique to Flario.
How do I get a perfect hit in Pulse?
Tap when the expanding ring is centred within the glowing target zone — the ring turns green to show you are in range. The exact centre of the target zone gives a Perfect hit worth the most points. Hitting near the edges counts as Good.
What is the difference between Perfect and Good hits?
A Perfect hit means you tapped when the ring was exactly in the centre of the target zone, worth 100 points multiplied by your current combo. A Good hit means you were close but not perfectly centred, worth 60 points times your combo. A miss costs a life and resets your combo to zero.
How many lives do I have in Pulse?
You start with three lives, displayed as hearts. Each miss costs one life. Losing all three ends the game. There is currently no way to earn additional lives during a game.
Does the ring speed change as I score?
Yes. The ring expands slightly faster as your score increases, requiring quicker reaction and sharper timing. Early in the game the timing window feels comfortable; at high scores it becomes genuinely demanding.
Is Pulse good for improving reaction time?
Yes. Unlike the Reaction Time test which measures raw reflex speed, Pulse trains anticipatory timing — the ability to predict the future position of a moving object and act precisely. This is a different cognitive skill used in sports, music, and driving.
