About Math Sprint

Math Sprint is a mental arithmetic game designed to sharpen calculation speed. Maths questions appear one at a time — four answer choices are shown and you must tap the correct one before the timer expires. Choose Easy mode for addition and subtraction, Medium for mixed operations including multiplication, or Hard for full arithmetic including division. Build consecutive correct answer combos to multiply your score. Math Sprint is popular with students, teachers, and anyone who wants to maintain or improve mental calculation speed.

💡 Tips & Tricks

Easy mode: perfect for warming up

Hard mode: division — think in reverse (what × B = A?)

Don't hesitate — wrong answers just break your combo

🏆 Scoring

Easy: 100pts · Medium: 200pts · Hard: 350pts per correct. Combo multiplier every 3 correct.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of maths appear in each difficulty?

Easy mode covers addition and subtraction with small numbers. Medium adds multiplication into the mix with larger values. Hard includes all four operations — addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division — with the most complex numbers.

How much time do I have per question?

Each question has a countdown timer. The time limit decreases slightly as your score and level increase, so later questions must be answered faster. Answering correctly keeps the game going — running out of time on any question ends the game.

Can Math Sprint help with school performance?

Yes. Regular mental arithmetic practice improves calculation speed and reduces cognitive load in maths — meaning your brain has more capacity for complex problem-solving when basic calculations are automatic. Teachers often recommend quick mental maths games as daily warm-ups.

How does the combo system work?

Each consecutive correct answer increases a multiplier. Getting answers right in a row builds larger multipliers and significantly higher total scores. One wrong answer resets the multiplier, so consistent accuracy earns more than lucky guesses.

Is it better to calculate mentally or guess quickly?

Always calculate — guessing from four options gives only a 25% chance of being correct, which will quickly end your game. Mental calculation, even if slightly slower, leads to far higher scores over a full session.

What is a good Math Sprint score?

A score of 500 on Easy is a solid starting point. Above 1500 on Medium requires good calculation speed and combo building. Hard mode scores above 2000 indicate strong mental arithmetic ability.
