About Infinite Runner
Infinite Runner is an endless side-scrolling obstacle game. A stick figure sprints automatically from left to right while you control one thing: jumping. Tap or press Space to leap over obstacles as they approach. The runner's speed increases the further you go, shrinking the time you have to react to each new obstacle. Infinite Runner tests reflexes, timing, and the ability to stay focused during sustained high-speed play. It is inspired by the endless runner genre popularised by games like Temple Run and Chrome's offline dinosaur game.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I control the Infinite Runner?
Tap anywhere on the screen (mobile) or press Space or the up arrow key (desktop) to make the runner jump. Timing your jump so the runner clears each obstacle is the entire skill of the game.
Does the game get faster over time?
Yes. The runner's speed gradually increases as your score climbs. Early obstacles are easy to react to, but at high scores the game moves fast enough that you need to anticipate obstacles rather than react to them.
What happens if I hit an obstacle?
The game ends immediately when the runner touches an obstacle. Your score is recorded and compared to your personal best. There are no lives or second chances — one collision ends the run.
Is there a maximum score in Infinite Runner?
There is no programmed maximum — the game continues indefinitely until you hit an obstacle. The theoretical limit is determined by how long you can maintain focus at maximum speed, which increases infinitely.
What is a good score to aim for?
A score of 50 is achievable for most players with practice. Above 100 requires good reflexes and sustained concentration. Scores above 200 are exceptional and require near-perfect consistency at high speed.
Can I double-jump in Infinite Runner?
Currently the runner can only jump once per ground contact. A double-jump ability is on the feature consideration list for a future update, which would add a new layer of strategy to obstacle navigation.
